Meet the Team of Landscapers and Horticulturists at Top Hedge Landscaping in Ballarat
Top Hedge owner Murray Flitcroft began operations in Ballarat in 2000. His passion for gardening and landscaping have seen him develop Top Hedge into a thriving business beautifying the Ballarat landscape one garden at a time. He is a member of SGA (Sustainable Gardening Australia), the Rose Society of Victoria and Drystone Wallers Association of Victoria. Murray has a Degree in Science with Honours, a Landscape Design Certificate and shares his wisdom in a gardening and landscaping column in the Ballarat Courier since 2003 and on our very own Top Hedge blog.
Murray has put together a Top Hedge team of qualified horiculturists and landscapers who love gardens and problemsolving; whether it’s how to get the best from your roses or how to improve your soil so your garden sings. Their diverse range of interests range from garden design, indigenous plants, natual pest and disease control, drought tolerant plants, soils, landscape management, roses, to permaculture and paving means that we can answer any questions you have.
Brooke Habel makes sure our display homes’ landscaping looks spot on and ready for sale. Brooke is practical and cheerful and her happy-to-help approach applies equally to maintaining landscapes or implementing new ones.
Pat Milne skillfully wields a sharp shovel to produce bluestone edge and paving. Most of his time he’s occupied with landscaping and footy (playing for Clunes). Service and safety are a top priority of Pat’s and the same goes for the rest of the team.
Jo Gilles spends most of her time maintaining and developing gardens in rural areas around Creswick, Clunes and beyond. She loves helping people, organic growing, heritage homes and gardens and her family. Her calm, ‘lets do it’ approach is terrific. Go Jo!
Vicky Kyrkou has a wealth of experience in business as well as gardens. She loves to watch her gardens grow and develop just like her family. Our clients love her caring attitude.
Ian Wishart’s enthusiasm and direct approach shines through whether he’s paving or pulling weeds. He’s as talented with hedge trimmers and any machinery as he is with propagation and trees on farms.
Theresa Bennison loves native gardens and her family (not necessarily in that order). Plants and people are her passion and making their gardens just right. Her business experience and can-do attitude are a delight to our clients.
